There are few coins that could earn the Star designation for more than one reason. This is one of them. The Star designation denotes the Cameo obverse on Proof coins, so this solid Cameo Obverse piece would receive the Star almost no matter what it looked like. However, the rims are also caked with beautiful rainbow rings that could have earned it the coveted Star as well. Due to the deep obverse mirrors, we show the coin is both direct and diffused light, so you can see both the Cameo and the color, respectively. The Cameo obverse adds significant value, thus the distinction is a very important one to make. For a non-rainbow toned coin, the PCGS price guide is 0 in PF67 and 00 in 67CAM. It's anyone's guess what this would bring with the toning added in!
