Sweet, sweet Ava is a bit shy but such a lovely kind little girl. She loves rainy days curled up with a good book. Especially travel books!
The Details:
Hitty Ava was hand carved from Basswood by Nong and painted by me, Holly. She stands exactly 6.25" tall and is peg jointed at the shoulders and hips like the original Hitty. I have hand stitched her dress from local fine cotton.

The Back Story:
In 2018 Ae was approached by a wonderful young carver, Nong, who asked to apprentice under him as he wanted to learn how to carve dolls. And since that time it has been great fun for Ae and I to work with Nong as he explores the small doll carving world.
Ae and I are so excited for Nong. He is such a wonderful young man and his dream has always been to become a full time carver like Ae but he's never felt confident in his carving skills. With every Hitty and small doll or animal he carves, there is great improvement. He pays so much attention to the tiniest of details. We both think he will be a star in the carving world.
Payment is expected within 2 days on Auction items.
We ship via Registered First Class International mail. The cost is and takes about 10-14 business days. We can also ship express mail which costs about and takes 4 to 8 working days. Payment is expected w/in 2 days of the auction ending and we will ship w/in three working days. Our dolls come from a smoke free but dog loving home. That said, the poochie bellas are not allowed in the doll studio.
