This rare set is "A Collectible Original From Bradley Dolls" from Los Angeles, CA.
You will not find many available sets like this one.
These country style dolls would be great for display in the fall or even to be put on a Christmas tree as an ornament.
The set features 6 dolls with carefully hand-painted faces; four of which are country type dolls and two that are clowns.  There is a country girl with overalls, plaid shirt, bandana and a mock straw hat. Two of the dolls  are scarecrows one with white hat and clothes and plaid shirt. The second scarecrow is wearing denim and blue hat. Both have straw hair and hands.  The next doll has bright red yarn hair, tied in pony tails, blue overalls and wooden hands. She is more like a Raggedy Ann style doll.  The last two are happy clowns; with one dressed in striped blue/white and solid pink; while other wears a polka-dot jump suit.  In addition, each doll as you can see in the picture can be hung like an ornament; due to the loop on their back.
Their heads, hands and feet are wooden and parts of the body have wire and padding.  Each wooden face is painted. The clothes are very well done and have lots of detail and accessories sewn on. All the dolls have the original bradley tag hanging off their arm or neck and a sticker on their foot which reads: "The Collector's Choice Bradley Dolls Los Angeles Calif." and "made in Taiwan". The label on the side of the box reads: Item No. WD101 and Bradley Los Angeles Calif.
The dolls measure in a range from approximately 8" to 10".  The size varies depending on where you measure from and if your including the hat in the measurement.
The dolls are in excellent condition with original box and each doll in it's original plastic wrapping, which is removable and has been taken off for the purpose of pictures. Some of the dolls legs are a little curved since they are wire and have been in the box for years.  They are all still in their compartments of the box original stored and kept for years.  The box is not sealed, but the dolls have not been used/played with and in original vintage condition.  The box is old and has stains, marks, creases and tears on the edges of the corners.The inside dividers for each doll are all intact.  Please visit all our photographs as they are considered part of the description.
